This article is intended to instruct Employees, Managers, Local HR, and HR how to view Total Compensation Statement (TCS) in Concourse.
In this article, you will find the following sections:
Each pay period, Human Resources will import data related to the most recent paychecks into Concourse. This data will be used to automatically generate a TCS that displays what additional payout may or may not be required to ensure that each employee is receiving the minimum compensation per TSA guidelines.
- Open the desired employee (either by searching for an employee or clicking My Details).
- Open the Compensation tab.
- Click on TCS Statements.
- Here you will be able to see all Total Compensation Statements that have been generated. For more details about a particular Check Date, click View.
The statement will have sections for each type calculation. For explanations of each field, continue to the Description of Fields section. To print or send to PDF, click Print.
Note: Only ATSA employees (screeners) are eligible for these calculations and payouts. If a position changes throughout the year that brings an employee into or out of a screening position, a Total Compensation Statement will not be generated for the periods they are not a screener.
If any questions or discrepancies are found on a Total Compensation Statement, please discuss with your local management team or Human Resources for further assistance.

|Period End Date||Period End Date of the pay period|
|Paycheck Date||Date of paycheck|
|Total Hours||Total hours that were worked during the period. This includes Regular Hours and all Premium Hours (if applicable). Overtime is not considered for these calculations.|
|Hourly Rate||Hourly rate during the period.|
|Minimum Loaded Rate||
The Minimum Loaded Rate (MLR) is set by the government and varies by location and position. The total of the hourly rate and benefits received must equal at least this amount per hour.
For example, the base rate for a TSO in Tupelo, MS is different than a TSO in Key West, FL due to their location rate, which is set by the government.
|Fringe Rate||The difference between the Minimum Loaded Rate and Hourly Rate. For every hour worked, this is the amount of fringe benefit an employee should receive.|
|Employer Paid Medical||Amount of Medical coverage the employer is paying, if any.|
|Employer Paid Dental||Amount of Dental coverage the employer is paying, if any.|
|Employer Paid Vision||Amount of Vision coverage the employer is paying, if any.|
|Workers Comp.||Amount of Workers Compensation Insurance the employer is paying.|
|Employer 401(k) Match||Amount the employer has contributed to the employees 401(k).|
|Holiday Pay||Amount of Holiday Pay that was received during the period, if any.|
|Bereavement Pay||Amount of Bereavement Pay that was received during the period, if any.|
|Jury Duty Pay||Amount of Jury Duty Pay that was received during the period, if any.|
|Military Leave||Amount of Military Leave Pay that was received during the period, if any.|
|Vacation Accrual Pay||Amount of Vacation time accrued during the period.|
|Long-Term Disability||Amount of Long-Term Disability coverage the employer is paying.|
|Short-Term Disability||Amount of Short-Term Disability coverage the employer is paying.|
|Life Insurance||Amount of Life Insurance coverage the employer is paying.|
|Premium Pay||If the employee has received any premium pay, the amounts will be shown in this section. Please note that only the premium amounts above their normal Hourly Rate are considered in the TCS. For example, if an employee has worked 4 hours on a Sunday at the rate of 1.35 their normal Hourly Rate, only .35 will be used in the calculations. This is because Premium Pay is not required, so any amount over the regular hourly rate is considered a benefit for TCS calculations.|
The Payout amount is based on the following formula:
Total Fringe Required (Fringe Rate x Total Hours) - Total Employer-Paid Benefits - Premium Pay - Employer-Paid Taxes
If this calculation returns a negative number, the employee has received at least the Minimum Loaded Rate that is required by TSA. A zero dollar amount will be displayed. If this calculations returns a positive number, the employee will receive that amount in their next paycheck as they have not received enough benefits to meet the Minimum Loaded Rate.
